Halloween Lighting
Halloween lighting ideas for Vancouver homes and storefronts
Halloween displays in Metro Vancouver have to survive October rain and wind, so we build them with the same commercial-grade C9 bulbs we use at Christmas, in orange, purple and green. For homes, the roofline is the starting point. Add inflatables on the lawn, skeletons by the door, a stretch spider web across the porch and a lit path for trick-or-treaters, and the house becomes the one kids remember.
For storefronts, simple and bold works best: alternating orange and purple roofline lights, wrapped front pillars, pumpkins at the entrance and curtain lights in the windows. It reads from across the street and looks great in photos.
The smartest move is to book Halloween and Christmas together. The Halloween roofline stays up as your Christmas base, we add the holiday layout in November, and you save 15%. Halloween lighting details →
Christmas Lighting
When should you book your Christmas light installation?
Booking early matters more than most homeowners think. Our schedule fills from the Lower Mainland out to the Interior starting in September, and November dates are usually the first to fill. Properties in Whistler, Squamish, Kelowna and Kamloops should book earliest, since crews travel out to the Interior on a fixed rotation each season. Booking by early October is the safest way to guarantee installation before the first snowfall.
Diwali Lighting
Combining Diwali and Christmas lighting in one installation
A growing number of our customers celebrate both Diwali and Christmas, and it's one of our most popular combo bookings — up to $200 off when both are installed together. Because our crews are already on-site for the Diwali install, adding a Christmas layout later in the season is a simple visit rather than a full new setup.
Maintenance
Why we only use commercial-grade C9 bulbs
Retail string lights aren't built for a full BC winter of rain, wind, and temperature swings. Commercial-grade C9 bulbs draw less power, run cooler, and are built with sealed, weatherproof housings — which is also why maintenance is guaranteed for the whole season on every install. If something does fail mid-season, it's almost always a connector or fuse, not the bulb itself, and our crews can usually fix it same-visit.
